What can you

Expect?

We organize micro crawler competitions with the support of RC-Klub Modellbolt in Szigetszentmiklós, Hungary. Our tracks are designed to be challenging for ready-to-run stock models, so it’s important to build and set up your own vehicle properly.

Indoor, covered courses

Races are held in an indoor hall, so they run regardless of weather. We are still working on the best solutions for indoor race events.

Modular construction

Our modular tracks provide the opportunity to create dozens of tracks. Our races will thus be varied and enjoyable.

Competition

Calendar

For the 2025 season, we run winter and summer series with multiple competitions in Class 1 and Class 2 categories. Our title sponsors include NordicCrawl RC (Norway), BabyDragon, and Vortex micro comp chassis manufacturers.

The webpage has a schedule of upcoming and past events, including the 2025 Winter Season races (for example, one event in Nové Zámky, Slovakia).

According to the current plan, 4 courses will be run in Class 1 and Class 2, and if time allows, 1–3 Class 0 courses as well.

The competition will follow the usual schedule.
Meet-up and vehicle inspection: 08:00–09:00, with track building taking place during this time.

There will be some changes, based on what we have learned so far.

Course building:
As usual, the courses will be marked before the race. It has worked well that not only I build tracks, but Peter Kováč as well, so you can also learn and practice this important part of competition crawling. Designing a course that is challenging yet still achievable is not easy. I would like others to try their hand at it too. Of course, I will check all gate markings, help where needed, and adjust gates if necessary.

Team captains:
Each group will have a team captain. Until now, they have also acted as judges; from now on, they will assist with disputed situations. If a decision cannot be made, the team captain will come to me to discuss it, avoiding unnecessary disruption during the race.

Judges:
Based on a suggestion from Peter Blaškovič, which I fully agree with, we will rotate judges. With the exception of juniors, everyone will take turns judging, always with a helper present on the course. I will provide a dedicated phone for scoring, so you won’t need to use or drain your own device anymore.

Order of categories:
It has proven effective to run one category completely before moving on to the next. Until now, Class 1 ran first due to the higher number of entries, but by the time we reached the much more demanding Class 2, everyone was mentally exhausted (myself included). For this reason, we are changing the order.
Class 2 will run first, followed by the more relaxed Class 1.
Drivers competing only in Class 1 should arrive around 12:00, or they are welcome to watch the Class 2 runs. This way, both categories’ award ceremonies can take place together at the end of the event.

The ceremony will take place immediately after the competition ends (around 15:00). Since we use an online scoring system, the official results will be generated automatically.
